Hello, friends! I’m sorry that it’s been so long since I updated here. It’s been quite a tough year for me and AJ, health-wise. When I’m doing poorly, it’s very difficult for me to keep up with this blog and all of my social media accounts. I usually end up defaulting to Facebook, because that is where 90% of my social life takes place as a spoonie.
As many of you know, I’ve been a chronic pain patient for 15 years now, having finally received diagnoses of fibromyalgia and arthritis in the past year, along with a slew of related health issues. After five years of struggling to get back on our feet after a difficult job loss and increased illness, AJ and I moved to Washington state in November of 2014.
I’d previously been on narcotic pain medication for a number of years. When I stopped taking them, I realized that there were a number of negative side effects I’d been experiencing, which vanished fairly suddenly… So I wouldn’t be interested in being on narcotics on a daily basis now, even if there were doctors willing to prescribe them with the current war on narcotics.
In my new home, I started seeking relief by going to a clinic where medical marijuana recommendations are provided. I got my recommendation easily once I got hold of a copy of my medical records. For the next year, I was able to do a relatively decent job of keeping this pain medicine around, but when my business slowed down significantly this year, I began to struggle. More

Hello, friends!❤ This week’s auction ended earlier tonight, and just about everyone’s paid up. Huge thanks to everyone who placed bids, purchased items or services donated by the amazing folks who have contributed their time and wares, and/or helped to spread the word!
I was able to borrow from our grocery fund in order to restock while we were out with friends on Tuesday, and I am now set for meds until the end of next week. The latest auction purchases even paid back the grocery fund for that loan, so that we’ll have that need taken care of tomorrow. Now I just need to work on scraping up the funds for the next MMJ restock — any contribution to my GoFundMe campaign means that you’ll be included in near-daily group distance Reiki in the near future, unless you choose to opt out.
I am of course working on some ways that I hope will help us to become more self-sufficient over time, and a big part of that is figuring out how we are going to move ourselves to Oregon, where we’ll be able to grow our own medicine in a state run by people who have more compassion and empathy for patients on limited incomes who need this medicine — and they also have a separate MMJ system that survived the legalization of recreational marijuana. We were just blindsided by how much this expense increased literally overnight when WA closed down all dispensaries, and we need some help while we figure things out.
Thanks again, everyone! Whatever form your support has taken, we appreciate it and we appreciate you.🙂
Much love and many blessings,
PS: You can still use the code RAIDHSE50 to take 50% off jewelry through Sunday, or RAIDHSE25 for 25% off everything else in my shop!

Good morning, friends! I wanted to make sure that you all know about some great deals currently available, all of which will help add to my medical marijuana fund.
Click on the above image for more info on anything shown here, to get your bid on, or to be among the first to see when new items are added. If you would be interested in adding goods or services to the fundraiser, please let me know. Most of the vendors involved thus far have donated 100% of proceeds from their items, but that is NOT required at all!
Also, it’s not too late to save 50% on ready to ship jewelry or 25% on gemstones and other goodies in my shop! Just use the applicable code at checkout — RAIDHSE25 or RAIDHSE50, respectively. “Raidhse” is Irish for abundance!🙂
And, of course, if you’d like to make a contribution to my GoFundMe campaign, that would also be so very appreciated. In return, my hubby and I are offering near-daily group distance Reiki starting in about 4-6 weeks for everyone who donates. Just let me know if you’d prefer to opt out.

This week’s auction has less than 19 hours remaining! There are 10 pieces of jewelry and one custom clay creation being auctioned off, with just 5 bids between them — as well as several items donated by other artists and vendors with BIN prices. I am a hardworking chronic pain patient, and every bid/purchase helps to make sure that I don’t have to go without the medicine that helps me to function.
Huge thanks to everyone spreading the word, donating items, getting their bid on and praying for relief and abundance on my behalf.
You can bid on current items here, or join for easy access when new items are listed.❤ And of course, if you’d rather just make a donation to help me pay for my medicine, you’re welcome to do so via my GoFundMe page. My hubby and I will soon be sending near-daily group distance Reiki to everyone who contributes any amount, unless they choose to opt out.
As always, much love and bright blessings to you, friends!❤

I had no idea that it would be against anyone’s rules to raise funds for my legal medicine, but Fundrazr closed my campaign, didn’t respond to my inquiries, and then deleted my entire account when I posted a new campaign raising funds for bills and rent, with the cost of my medication coming out of our earnings. Apparently it’s against some weird arbitrary rule to run a fundraiser when you are a medical marijuana patient… How odd. And their customer service is awful, at least if they have a problem with your campaign and you attempt to discuss the matter with them.
So I went back to GoFundMe, which I’d used previously to help us get settled in the Pacific Northwest. I contacted their customer service and asked whether I could raise funds for my 100% legal medical marijuana. The rep who helped me was super nice and I was reassured that it would be fine, as long as it was clearly stated in the campaign info where I’m located and that it’s legal here. I should have stuck with them in the first place; I was just hoping not to have to wait up to a week for withdrawn funds to hit my bank account now that I can no longer use PayPal on GoFundMe. (My account had previously been grandfathered in using PayPal.)
At least it all worked out in the end!🙂 You can visit the new fundraiser here. All donations made on Fundrazr have been added to the new tally, along with funds for items that other vendors have donated to sell in my new Facebook group. (If you’d like to add one or more items, please get in touch! So far, everyone has donated 100% of proceeds, but I’d be fine with a 50% split as well.)
Apologies for any confusion, dears! Much love to you.❤

Heya, friends! I just realized that it has been quite a while since I posted here. After noticing some problematic side effects, I’ve been going through quite a difficult patch pain-wise while tapering off of Cymbalta under the care of a doctor who doesn’t seem to believe that the withdrawal is a big deal. Without much help, it’s been difficult to function many days. I’ve already gone from 60 mg down to 20 mg, so hopefully it won’t be too much longer until I’m actually starting to feel human again. I am grateful that I have at least been able to turn to MMJ; on higher doses of Cymbalta, my tolerance was so low that I had to stop taking THC meds and they are one of the few things that have kept me sane during this transition.
Most of the beaded pieces in my shop have been recently reduced. The entirety of my Maryjane Collection has been priced to move for a while now and I’m not sure why it hasn’t. I guess I’m just not reaching my target audience with them. Either way, what’s left is affordable to begin with and insanely cheap when combined with my 20% off coupon, “MARCH20” — which, as you may have guessed, expires at the end of the month. At this point, I probably won’t make many more marijuana-themed pieces unless I get custom orders for them.
I’m also offering some other special deals…
And have you seen my epic giveaway? There are two prize packs worth over $85 each, including new products that I’m thinking of bringing to the shop. Follow this link for full details on prizes and how to enter.
I’ll keep trying to get better about posting here, and if you’re on Instagram or Facebook, I invite you to follow me there as well. I post daily on Facebook and am also pretty active on Instagram. I try to also keep up with Pinterest, but it hasn’t been playing nice with my phone lately.
Lots of love and many blessings to you, friends! I hope that your spring is off to a beautiful start.

So this beauty is ending in just about two hours, and I’m shocked that it’s had just two bids. The current high bid is just $40, and this set by The Healer’s Touch easily has a value of $100.
I’ve been really busy this past week, catching up on chores, getting a pile of packages ready to ship out by Monday, and being forced to rest after pushing myself too hard. We’re finally caught up on laundry and fairly well stocked with groceries, which is really nice. I’ve been working on some new protection talismans, and I am pretty smitten. These are all handmade on metal rings with recycled sari silk yarn. Some have highfired ceramic pendants attached, which can be used as essential oil diffusers. All have a wee vial of black salt with a twist-off top, so that you can empty and refill the vial when/if you choose to do so. I’m not quite done with these yet, but I’d love to hear what you think of my works in progress! The photo with multiple pieces shows some of the variety so far; the close-up is truer to the actual colors of this gorgeous rainbow sari yarn!

I also just realized that I hadn’t posted our Imbolc projects here. We were incredibly glad and grateful to be able to stash away some supplies to make Brighid’s crosses and dolls for the first time this year. You can see my first cross and our dolls below. My doll is on the left; AJ’s is on the right and makes me think of Janis Joplin channeling Brighid, hehe. Obviously the dolls aren’t very traditional, but we had fun with them and these were wonderful bonding experiences, with the Lady and one another. As soon as I have some spare energy to devote to them, I’m planning to decorate my crosses a wee bit with some of this lovely sari yarn.

It is my hope that I’ll be able to get some new jewelry posted in the coming days, as well as adding the first batch of pentagram talismans to my shop. In the meantime, there’s a flash sale happening now! You can find more info here. I generally post to Facebook and Instagram fairly quickly when I have new goodies, and I try to post here regularly as well.
Thanks so much for your support!
