Hello, friends. Apologies, again, for being so quiet over here… It’s been a really rough year for me pain-wise, and I just haven’t been able to keep up as much as I’d like. I’m working on trying to take better care of myself so that I can regain greater health and be more on top of things, starting with shipping approximately every 7-10 days whenever possible. Delays may still happen when I am particularly unwell, but extended delays should be much more rare than in the past.
Hubby and I have birthdays coming up on the 9th and 13th, followed by the 2nd anniversary of our arrival in the Pacific Northwest and the 6th anniversary of the first seeds being planted for Baubles & Blessings. So much to celebrate! So, until 11:59 PM on the 13th, save 50% on the jewelry in my shop with the code “HAPPYBIRTHDAY”. (Items in the fundraiser category are excluded, as they are already priced to move. All funds from these items go straight to my MMJ fund.
Lastly is this amazing giveaway… One lucky winner will receive the goddess prayer beads, gemstone grab bag, and all of the makeup and beauty items shown. The contest will close for entries at 11:59 PM on November 30th.
Thanks so much for all of your support, darlings! I wouldn’t have made it this far without you.

Heya, friends! I just realized that it has been quite a while since I posted here. After noticing some problematic side effects, I’ve been going through quite a difficult patch pain-wise while tapering off of Cymbalta under the care of a doctor who doesn’t seem to believe that the withdrawal is a big deal. Without much help, it’s been difficult to function many days. I’ve already gone from 60 mg down to 20 mg, so hopefully it won’t be too much longer until I’m actually starting to feel human again. I am grateful that I have at least been able to turn to MMJ; on higher doses of Cymbalta, my tolerance was so low that I had to stop taking THC meds and they are one of the few things that have kept me sane during this transition.
Most of the beaded pieces in my shop have been recently reduced. The entirety of my Maryjane Collection has been priced to move for a while now and I’m not sure why it hasn’t. I guess I’m just not reaching my target audience with them. Either way, what’s left is affordable to begin with and insanely cheap when combined with my 20% off coupon, “MARCH20” — which, as you may have guessed, expires at the end of the month. At this point, I probably won’t make many more marijuana-themed pieces unless I get custom orders for them.
I’m also offering some other special deals…
And have you seen my epic giveaway? There are two prize packs worth over $85 each, including new products that I’m thinking of bringing to the shop. Follow this link for full details on prizes and how to enter.
I’ll keep trying to get better about posting here, and if you’re on Instagram or Facebook, I invite you to follow me there as well. I post daily on Facebook and am also pretty active on Instagram. I try to also keep up with Pinterest, but it hasn’t been playing nice with my phone lately.
Lots of love and many blessings to you, friends! I hope that your spring is off to a beautiful start.

My Facebook reach has been ridiculous, but I’m still in the same predicament where most of my customers and fans follow me on FB — where I have many times more followers than I do anywhere else — and not on any other sites. I’ll have a PO box soon and will then be able to set up a newsletter, since a mailing address is required by anti-spam laws and I’m not comfortable posting my home address publicly. But in the meantime, I’m still having a hard time reaching the folks who are already part of the community I’ve worked hard to build on Facebook — and every time you visit my page and show my posts some love, you help get my posts into more feeds. Thanks so much for your support!
Congrats to the lovely Elizabeth Miller, who just won the rainbow chakra necklace! Good luck to everyone who enters the new contest. ❤

Hello, lovelies! Now that things are finally settling down a bit for us, I’m gearing up to FINALLY celebrate reaching 13,000 FB page fans! Since I was born on the 13th of November and 13 has always been my lucky number, I’ve really been looking forward to this.
First up, I’m giving away this lovely rainbow necklace/prayer beads, featuring a sweet hand-painted chakra pendant by Windy Paints. I always love working with Windy’s pendants, and I was so glad that she wanted to take part!
Enter here. Good luck!
This contest will close for entries at 11:59 PM PST on April 21st, 2015. The winner will be announced and contacted via email within 72 hours.
Next week, I’ll be giving away another piece made with a stunning pendant by The Healers Touch – A Journey In Healing! Keep an eye out for that, as well as game nights and some other fun stuff that I’ll be announcing soon, along with my active fan rewards and fan appreciation winners from the past few months. Lots of prizes and fun to come over the next six weeks!

It’s been a while since I had a giveaway for y’all, so I’ve decided to rectify that by giving away TWO collaborative pieces in the second half of April! Here’s a sneak peek at the prizes that I just finished up tonight,,,
The piece on the left features a fancy beadwork leaf pendant by my friend Tracey at The Healers Touch – A Journey In Healing. This necklace combines labradorite, peridot, serpentine, gold freshwater pearls, glass crystals, metal accent beads, and pressed glass Eye of Providence beads.
The necklace on the right features a sweet hand-painted chakra pendant by my pal Windy over at Windy Paints. This piece combines faceted Czech glass beads with clear quartz and pewter accent beads.
I’d love to hear what you think! Which of these are you most excited about entering to win? Keep an eye on my Facebook page and/or my posts here on the blog over the next week for more info on how to enter both contests… And while you’re at it, please pop over to my co-conspirators’ FB pages to show them some love, too!

I’ve got a new giveaway running! Click here to enter via the Facebook app, or here to enter directly through Rafflecopter. I’d love to hear what you think of the piece! ♥
The winner will receive the necklace shown here, including free worldwide S&H! This promotion will close at 11:59 PM (Eastern time) on October 13th. The prize will be shipped by October 24th and should be delivered to winner, if in the United States, before Halloween/Samhain. (Unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for errors or delays caused by USPS.)
I know that not everyone will be able to claim all entries; on average, folks claim 2-3 entries. The point is not to enter every single way possible, but to enter in the way/s that work best for you so we can stay as connected as possible despite limited reach on Facebook.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, WordPress, or any other site on which the promotion is shared. 😉

A few wee updates this morning… First, I’ve drawn this month’s customer appreciation giveaway winner! The lovely Dot over at Busted Button was one of the few people that sent in a customer appreciation photo last month, and her name was drawn yesterday. If you want to see the official announcement post, you can click on the image below. To enter future monthly drawings, just send in a photo of yourself showing off your Baubles & Blessings jewelry!
I’m also looking for some feedback from the B&B family. I want to hear about your favorites among the pieces that were part of my recent auction. You can check out the pieces by following the link in this post; if you follow the instructions and comment on the FB post, you’ll be entered to win your choice of a $10 gift code or a coupon good for $20 off a $40 purchase.
July was full of raffles, we kicked off August with an auction, and at least half of all funds coming in via B&B will continue to add to our moving fund until we’re en route to Seattle. What do YOU think we should do to keep our fundraising efforts fun, exciting and engaging? I may do something more with raffles and/or auctions this month, and one of my awesome customers suggested grab bags, which I think is an awesome idea. Is that something you might be interested in? Do you have some other idea no one has suggested yet? I don’t want you to get bored! Leaving feedback here is wonderful, or you can click through to join the conversation on FB here.
I’m thinking that some themed grab bags would be fun. So far, I’m throwing around rainbow pride/chakra, earthy/hippie, Samhain, Halloween, Mi Casa, water/lighthouse and random/surprise for themes. I would love to hear what you think of these! 🙂
