More new pretties for a good cause!

I had a few spoons available for easy work tonight, so I made some adorable new thank you gifts for the fundraiser happening now over on Facebook. Included among them are some exclusive pendants made by Art by Starla Moore just for our fundraisers last year when we were working to move from Tennessee to the Pacific Northwest; I’d misplaced the last few and just found them again. Perfect timing!

Hubby and I are both disabled. I have fibro along with PCOS and a number of related issues, while he is still on his diagnosis journey. We are both only able to work from home, and we are blessed that he has a steady part-time job to which he telecommutes. It’s been a pretty rough few months for us with a shockingly dead holiday season for my shop. We’re working hard to find ways to cover things like transportation to our many medical appointments, small personal/hygiene needs as they arise, meds not covered by insurance (particularly CBD tincture, which adds up at a $30 bottle weekly), and food for the portion of the month our SNAP benefits do not cover.

Your support — whether through purchases via my shop, contributions to our fundraisers or helping to boost the signal on Facebook or elsewhere — is so very much appreciated and makes a huge difference!

Much love and many blessings,
❤ Bri

New fundraiser now live!

Hello, lovelies! I know that 2015 was pretty hard on many of us, and my wish for all of us is that 2016 is a bit gentler. I hope that your year is off to a wonderful start! ❤

I just got the Facebook fundraiser up and running. There are just a few items so far, but I think they’re pretty great… Though maybe I’m a bit biased.

Belinda from Feeling a Little Crochety is donating these adorable bookmarks.

I made these sweet li’l sunstone bauble and wooden feather necklaces the other night.

And I’ve also decided to auction off this beauty, featuring a stunning polymer clay pendant by Deveon at FaceARTifacts. The opening bid is just $20!!

I’ll be adding new donation rewards and auction items created by myself and other artists all month long. If you want to know about everything as soon as it’s added, RSVP for the event. I hope to see you there!

Blessings,
❤ Bri

30% off deal extended; auction next weekend!

2015-11-01-MEDS5-ExtendedWe have not yet met the goal for our med fundraiser, so I am extending the offer through the 13th. Use the code “MEDS” to save 30% on any non-custom jewelry order in my shop. Spend $50 after the discount (not including S&H), and I will refund all US shipping charges.

I also have an auction coming up, from the 13th through the 16th. AJ’s birthday is coming up on Monday, mine is Friday, and the 15th is the one year anniversary of our arrival in Tacoma. We’re hoping that when all is said and done, we might be able to have our basic needs covered for the month and have something left over for some sort of birthday treat, like an inexpensive meal out or a visit to a movie theater. I’ll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for that.

2015-11-04-November-Auction-SqI expect I’ll have some bargain-hunting holiday shoppers at the event. It’s a great chance to snag a deal or five while helping a hardworking disabled couple stay afloat. I generally list everything with a starting price at or below half of retail, and many pieces end up going for insanely low prices. If you enjoy my work but you’ve never participated in one of my auctions, I highly recommend checking it out. Even if you don’t have funds for this one, you’ll see how it works… And I’ll also be doing other fun stuff, like door prizes, this time around. 😀

Thanks, as always, for being here, being you and being awesome. I really appreciate you taking the time to see what I’m up to!

Much love and many blessings,
Bri

Spring has Sprung: Elegant Aventurine & Fancy Silver Leaf Necklace

2015-03-23-Spring-Green-Aventurine-Glass-Crystal-Leaf-Necklace-Sun-Silver-2

This elegant necklace combines faceted green aventurine beads with wee peridot glass crystals and silver-plated spacers and accent beads. The square silver beads feature a beautiful sun design; there are also a few oak leaf beads in the upper portion of the necklace. The large leaf pendant is just lovely; suspended from it are several glass crystal baubles, as well as an aventurine bauble hung from the tip. Additionally, there is an aventurine cabochon in silver plated setting in front of the leaf.

All metal components are silver-finished base metals or Tibetan silver.

The length is approximately 23″, including the lobster clasp. The pendant hangs down about 4.25″ from the beaded strand.

As with most of my necklaces, this piece could easily be shortened at no extra charge. Please allow extra time for making alterations, and contact me prior to purchasing to make sure that I am able to fulfill your request. If you require a longer length, please purchase an inexpensive extender chain from the add-on section of my shop or get in touch to discuss a custom order.

Everything is strung on sturdy, flexible, nylon-coated 49-strand stainless steel beading wire.

New pieces!

I’ve just finished listing a small batch of new pieces in my shop!

Fundraiser & flash deal ~ save 30% today!

2014-0928-SeattleBySamhain

After hubby and I spent some sweet time together last night, I’ve been trying to take today off as well, but I’m wound so tightly right now, worrying about coming up with enough funds to make this move happen — and keep us fed and medicated at the same time* — that I haven’t been able to let go enough to relax for very long… So I made a deal with myself, made a pretty picture, and after I share it I’m going to take a grounding shower and try to break from the computer for a good, solid chunk of time.

You can click on the image above if you’re on Facebook and you’d like to interact to help boost my signal there.

If you haven’t checked out the event page yet, please click here to visit the FB event, or here to check out the page on WordPress. If you can’t contribute financially at this time, please consider boosting my signal to help get the information in front of people who would care (and possibly be able to help) but aren’t being reached by my posts because of FB shenanigans. Thanks so much for your support, friends!

If you’re looking for a deal, I have a flash coupon posted on FB — for another 10 hours, you can save 30% on everything in my shop!

* To be clear, all contributions to the moving fund go straight to the fund!
