Awesome deals + Fibro Cream Q&A!

Okay, so first off, I am incredibly excited to announce that I’ve done a Q&A with the folks behind MyPainAway Fibro Cream, which you can check out by clicking on the screenshot below. I can’t recommend these folks highly enough… I love every one of their homeopathic products that I’ve tried, and their social media team is super friendly, helpful and kind. What a long, strange road it’s been.

Hello, friends! It’s sure been a while since I posted here, hasn’t it? The same was true of everywhere but Facebook until I started posting on Instagram again recently.

I’ve been dealing with a lot of brain fog and physical limitations for the past year, and I strongly suspect that everything has continued to be so difficult because of lingering side effects from my time on Cymbalta. I’m very happy to say that I’m finally getting more functionality back, thanks to eating as healthily as I can manage, figuring out which supplements help me the most, becoming a Reiki practitioner, starting to make my own essential oil blends, and using small amounts of MMJ to keep my pain from becoming unbearable. It’s been a long, hard road away from the pharmaceuticals that I’d hoped would help give me my life back. I’m now taking the reins myself when it comes to my fibro and chronic pain, and it feels amazing to be healing.

I’ve been doing monthly auctions to help make ends meet over in my event group on Facebook. There’s one happening right now, ending Thursday evening. There are still many pieces without any bids. If you have a moment. pop over and join the group so you’ll be ready to bid if something tickles your fancy — I’ll be adding even more items today and possibly tomorrow. Here’s a peek at some of the items…

SOS! I need your help, friends.

Friends, I seriously need your help! I’ve been having to take less and less MMJ because I’ve had so little funds coming in — I’ve had one $3 sale in the past week — and it just isn’t enough relief to keep up with my business page, making new pieces and doing chores. I need your help in order to keep functioning!

You can help by doing any of the following…
– Visit my GoFundMe page; consider making a contribution or sharing. Everyone who donates will receive distance group Reiki services, starting in the next few weeks.

– Join my Facebook group; consider purchasing or sharing available goods and services.

– Stop by my Facebook page, check out recent posts and deals, and consider boosting my signal by getting interactive. Find coupons and save up to 50% on everything in my shop!

Prayers, candles and good mojo in general are also appreciated! Thanks so much to everyone who has been offering us support in any way. It means so much to me and AJ. ❤

New fundraiser link!

I had no idea that it would be against anyone’s rules to raise funds for my legal medicine, but Fundrazr closed my campaign, didn’t respond to my inquiries, and then deleted my entire account when I posted a new campaign raising funds for bills and rent, with the cost of my medication coming out of our earnings. Apparently it’s against some weird arbitrary rule to run a fundraiser when you are a medical marijuana patient… How odd. And their customer service is awful, at least if they have a problem with your campaign and you attempt to discuss the matter with them.

So I went back to GoFundMe, which I’d used previously to help us get settled in the Pacific Northwest. I contacted their customer service and asked whether I could raise funds for my 100% legal medical marijuana. The rep who helped me was super nice and I was reassured that it would be fine, as long as it was clearly stated in the campaign info where I’m located and that it’s legal here. I should have stuck with them in the first place; I was just hoping not to have to wait up to a week for withdrawn funds to hit my bank account now that I can no longer use PayPal on GoFundMe. (My account had previously been grandfathered in using PayPal.)

At least it all worked out in the end! 🙂 You can visit the new fundraiser here. All donations made on Fundrazr have been added to the new tally, along with funds for items that other vendors have donated to sell in my new Facebook group. (If you’d like to add one or more items, please get in touch! So far, everyone has donated 100% of proceeds, but I’d be fine with a 50% split as well.)

Apologies for any confusion, dears! Much love to you. ❤

Catching Up, Deals & Epic Giveaway!

Heya, friends! I just realized that it has been quite a while since I posted here. After noticing some problematic side effects, I’ve been going through quite a difficult patch pain-wise while tapering off of Cymbalta under the care of a doctor who doesn’t seem to believe that the withdrawal is a big deal. Without much help, it’s been difficult to function many days. I’ve already gone from 60 mg down to 20 mg, so hopefully it won’t be too much longer until I’m actually starting to feel human again. I am grateful that I have at least been able to turn to MMJ; on higher doses of Cymbalta, my tolerance was so low that I had to stop taking THC meds and they are one of the few things that have kept me sane during this transition.

Most of the beaded pieces in my shop have been recently reduced. The entirety of my Maryjane Collection has been priced to move for a while now and I’m not sure why it hasn’t. I guess I’m just not reaching my target audience with them. Either way, what’s left is affordable to begin with and insanely cheap when combined with my 20% off coupon, “MARCH20” — which, as you may have guessed, expires at the end of the month. At this point, I probably won’t make many more marijuana-themed pieces unless I get custom orders for them.

I’m also offering some other special deals…

Special offers through 3/31!

And have you seen my epic giveaway? There are two prize packs worth over $85 each, including new products that I’m thinking of bringing to the shop. Follow this link for full details on prizes and how to enter.

Epic spoonie/witchy giveaway!

I’ll keep trying to get better about posting here, and if you’re on Instagram or Facebook, I invite you to follow me there as well. I post daily on Facebook and am also pretty active on Instagram. I try to also keep up with Pinterest, but it hasn’t been playing nice with my phone lately.

Lots of love and many blessings to you, friends! I hope that your spring is off to a beautiful start.

Beadfreaky inspiration & spare spoons!

In the past handful of days, I’ve taken inspiration from the gorgeous pendants made over at Beadfreaky, as well as some spoon pendants and charms. Here’s what’s come of that so far. 🙂

The above pieces have been listed in my shop — where you can still save 25% on all regularly-priced ready to ship pieces through the end of the month with the code “HELLO2016” — and the piece below is now up for auction.

Amethyst Meditating Goddess Prayer Bead Necklace

I’m also excited to share these new spare spoon pieces! The first two are in my shop; the others are listed in the fundraiser.

I’d love to hear what you think of the new goodies! Thanks so much for reading. ❤

Blessings,
Bri

New fundraiser pieces – awareness ribbons & butterflies!

I was inspired to make these purple butterfly pieces a couple of days ago. There are still two left with wee black glass crystals, and one with lavender crystals. They’re super adjustable; I’m modeling one at the shortest length and one at the longest length. (My neck is about 17″.) Visit the FB fundraiser to snag yours, read more or see what else is available. (If you’re more the grab bag type, our GoFundMe campaign is still open as well, or I am happy to barter items from our Amazon wishlist for credit to my shop.)

Adjustable Purple Butterfly Necklaces

After recently posting my fibro warrior pendants, I got a LOT of requests for pink ribbon pieces. Here are the first of those! They can also be found in the FB fundraiser.

So far, the fundraisers have raised $349 this month — $174 in donations for jewelry and other gifts; $155 in auction items and $20 from the GoFundMe. Huge thanks to everyone who has had a hand in making that happen, from spreading the word to donating funds or items, bidding, etc. I am so grateful for all of your support while things have been so slow for us.

I apologize for not posting much recently. I’ve just been exhausted most of the time lately, and celebrating small victories when they arise.

Much love and many blessings,
❤ Bri
