Fundraiser Auction & Crazy Sale!

Good morning, friends! I wanted to make sure that you all know about some great deals currently available, all of which will help add to my medical marijuana fund.

Click on the above image for more info on anything shown here, to get your bid on, or to be among the first to see when new items are added. If you would be interested in adding goods or services to the fundraiser, please let me know. Most of the vendors involved thus far have donated 100% of proceeds from their items, but that is NOT required at all!

Also, it’s not too late to save 50% on ready to ship jewelry or 25% on gemstones and other goodies in my shop! Just use the applicable code at checkout — RAIDHSE25 or RAIDHSE50, respectively. “Raidhse” is Irish for abundance! ūüôā

And, of course, if you’d like to make a contribution to my GoFundMe campaign, that would also be so very appreciated. In return, my hubby and I are offering near-daily group distance Reiki starting in about 4-6 weeks for everyone who donates. Just let me know if you’d prefer to opt out.

Auction, Prayers & Gratitude

This week’s auction has less than 19¬†hours remaining! There are 10 pieces of jewelry and one custom clay creation being auctioned off, with just 5 bids between them — as well as several items donated by other artists and vendors with BIN prices. I am a hardworking chronic pain patient, and every bid/purchase helps to make sure that I don’t¬†have to go without the medicine that helps me to function.

Huge thanks to everyone spreading the word, donating items, getting their bid on and praying for relief and abundance on my behalf.

You can bid on current items here, or join for easy access when new items are listed. ‚̧ And of course, if you’d rather just make a donation to help me pay for my medicine, you’re welcome to do so via my GoFundMe page. My hubby and I will soon be sending near-daily group distance Reiki to everyone who contributes any amount, unless they choose to opt out.

As always, much love and bright blessings to you, friends! ‚̧

Please help me keep working, learning & smiling!

Hello, friends! I’m sorry that it’s been so long since I updated here. It’s been quite a tough year for me and AJ, health-wise. When I’m doing poorly, it’s very difficult for me to keep up with¬†this blog and all of my social media accounts. I usually end up defaulting to Facebook, because that is where 90% of my social life takes place as a spoonie.

As many of you know,¬†I’ve been a chronic pain patient for 15 years now, having finally received diagnoses of fibromyalgia and arthritis in the past year, along with a slew of related health issues. After five years of struggling to get back on our feet after a difficult job loss and increased illness, AJ¬†and I moved to Washington state in November of 2014.

I’d previously been on narcotic pain medication for a number of years. When I stopped taking them, I realized that there were a number of negative side effects I’d been experiencing, which vanished fairly suddenly… So I wouldn’t be interested in being on narcotics on a daily basis now, even if there were doctors willing to prescribe them with the current war on narcotics.

In my new home, I started seeking relief by going to a clinic where medical marijuana recommendations are provided. I got my recommendation easily once I got hold of a copy of my medical records. For the next year, I was able to do a relatively decent job of keeping this pain medicine around, but when my business slowed down significantly this year, I began to struggle. More

Catching Up, Deals & Epic Giveaway!

Heya, friends! I just realized that it has been quite a while since I posted here. After noticing some problematic side effects, I’ve been going through quite a difficult patch pain-wise¬†while¬†tapering off of Cymbalta under the care of a doctor who doesn’t seem to believe that the withdrawal is a big deal. Without much help, it’s been difficult to function many days. I’ve already gone from 60 mg down to 20 mg, so hopefully it won’t be too much longer until I’m actually starting to feel human again. I am grateful that I have at least been able to turn to MMJ; on higher doses of Cymbalta, my tolerance was so low that I had to stop taking THC meds and they are one of the few things that have kept me sane during this transition.

Most of the beaded pieces in my shop have been recently reduced. The entirety of my Maryjane Collection has been priced to move for a while now and I’m not sure why it hasn’t. I guess I’m just not reaching my target audience with them. Either way, what’s left is affordable to begin with and insanely cheap when combined with my 20% off coupon, “MARCH20” — which, as you may have guessed, expires at the end of the month. At this point, I probably won’t make many more marijuana-themed pieces unless I get custom orders for them.

I’m also offering some other special deals…

Special offers through 3/31!

And have you seen my epic giveaway? There are two prize packs worth over $85 each, including new products that I’m thinking of bringing to the shop. Follow this link for full details on prizes and how to enter.

Epic spoonie/witchy giveaway!

I’ll keep trying to get better about posting here, and if you’re on Instagram or Facebook, I invite you to follow me there as well. I post daily on Facebook and am also pretty active on Instagram. I try to also keep up with Pinterest, but it hasn’t been playing nice with my phone lately.

Lots of love and many blessings to you, friends! I hope that your spring is off to a beautiful start.

New fundraiser pieces – awareness ribbons & butterflies!

I was inspired to make these purple butterfly pieces a couple of days ago. There are still two left with wee black glass crystals, and one with lavender crystals. They’re super adjustable; I’m modeling one at the shortest length and one at the longest length. (My neck is about 17″.) Visit the FB fundraiser to snag yours, read more or see what else is available. (If you’re more the grab bag type, our GoFundMe campaign is still open as well, or I am happy to barter items from our Amazon wishlist for credit to my shop.)

Adjustable Purple Butterfly Necklaces

After recently posting my fibro warrior pendants, I got a LOT of requests for pink ribbon pieces. Here are the first of those! They can also be found in the FB fundraiser.

So far, the fundraisers have raised $349 this month — $174 in donations for jewelry and other gifts; $155 in auction items and $20 from the GoFundMe. Huge thanks to everyone who has had a hand in making that happen, from spreading the word to donating funds or items, bidding, etc. I am so grateful for all of your support while things have been so slow for us.

I apologize for not posting much recently. I’ve just been exhausted most of the time lately, and celebrating small victories when they arise.

Much love and many blessings,
‚̧ Bri

Auction items ending 1/22

I’ve added some lovely items donated by talented friends to our Facebook fundraiser, all with starting bids about half of their retail value. As I type, two of the new pieces have no bids; the others just one and two, respectively.

There are also still oodles of B&B pieces up for grabs, made just for this event, as well as items from the following wonderful artists…

In The Woods/custom jewelry & crafts
Art by Starla Moore
Feeling a Little Crochety

Not to mention the grab bags and other goodies available via the GoFundMe page. And there are other artists to be announced, as well! RSVP for the event to stay on top of updates as they are posted.

It’s been a quiet weekend in recovery mode for me after a dear friend helped me get¬†caught up on grocery shopping Thursday. I’m hoping to get some beading done in the next few days, particularly during our flamekeeping shift toward the end of the week. I’m looking forward to having more new pieces to share with you, and I hope that you’ve all had your preference of an exciting or restful weekend.

Much love and many blessings,

Fundraisers… Plus save 33%, tonight only!

Hello, friends!

I want to thank everyone who has contributed in any way to either of our fundraisers. Without your help, we’d be in a much worse place at the moment.

Unfortunately, between my shop and fundraisers on GoFundMe and Facebook, I’ve had less than $200 come in during the first half of January. If you can help in any way — from a purchase in my shop or a donation in exchange for jewelry to spreading the word about my work — we would appreciate it so very much!

Fibro/Spoonie Warrior Necklace with New Braided Faux Leather Cord

If you’ve fallen in love with my fibro/spoonie warrior pendants — or any of the others available in the FB fundraiser — but not the organza cords, I now have these braided faux leather cords available. Please add $2 to your donation and let me know by commenting in the FB fundraiser that you’d like the cord swap. (I can also make the spoon pendants with other ribbon colors on request!)

We are still in dire need of several clothing items and some health-related items. If you’re able to purchase any of the above items from our Amazon wish list, I’d be more than happy to set up a gift code in thanks.

Today is also the last day to use the members-only coupon code to save 33% on all regularly priced ready to ship pieces in my shop. If you aren’t already a member, you can join my Facebook group here.

Much love and many blessings,
Bri
