Time to play catch up… New pieces, discounts, upcoming auction & grab bags!

2015-05-27-MAY33Heya, friends! I recently sent out questionnaires for fundraiser grab bags, and I’ll be working concurrently on getting the first sets of grab bags together, working on the last of the older custom orders, and making new pieces for my shop over the next couple of weeks. I’ll try to get better about posting them here again as I make new pieces. In the meantime, if you are due a reward and haven’t found the email titled “Grab Bag Questionnaire”, please get in touch and let me know that you haven’t received it.

You can see my newest coupon codes to the left… Just enter the code of your choice during checkout via my shop, either “MAY33” to save 33% on any pre-coupon purchase of at least $25 OR “FREESHIP” for free US S&H on any order of at least $15. Both are good through the end of May.

I’m planning a jewelry auction for the first weekend in June, most likely running from the 4th through the 8th. Keep an eye on my FB page for details as I figure them out; the auction will take place on FB. (If you have a moment to stop by and show my recent posts some love to help boost my signal, I’d appreciate that very much too!)

Oh, and before I forget… For anyone who missed it, here’s the screenshot of the donations your purchases in April helped me to make! I posted this on FB and forgot to share it here a couple of weeks ago.

This isn’t everything I’ve made since my last major jewelry upload, but here are some of the highlights… Some of these are still available in my shop, and I’ll have more added soon! Among my personal favorites of this bunch are the marijuana bud necklaces. As a medical marijuana patient who went from being on high doses of narcotics and many additional pharmaceuticals just to be able to function, to now just using my MMJ and about half of the meds I was on previously — no more narcotics! — along with a healthier diet, I am amazed at how much better I feel.

I’ve been pleased by the response so far, and I’ll continue to make marijuana-themed jewelry because I am a firm supporter of the legalization of marijuana for medical, spiritual and recreational use… Your purchase of any of those pieces will help you show your support for marijuana reform, and will also help make sure that this patient doesn’t have to go without her meds. If there is enough response, I’ll also start donating a percentage of sales of these pieces to organizations working toward reform. If you have suggestions for great orgs that are underfunded, please let me know! I’m always thrilled to have a chance to pay it forward after all of the help we’ve received along our journey out of serious poverty and the chronic threat of a return to homelessness. More

Witchy Warrior Headdress with Garnet, Copper, Czech Glass & Chain

I’m working on listing a selection of garnet and copper pieces that I made this morning. Hubby and I are at the beginning of a flamekeeping shift and I’d like to spend most of it working on new pieces and energy work, especially with the shift coinciding with the holiday, so I’m not certain how much I’ll actually post tonight… But I was so pleased with how this special piece turned out that I had to share it now. I’d love to hear what you think! (Please just overlook this morning’s very messy hair.) I also have a similar beaded necklace, along with several pairs of earrings and two pendant/chain combos inspired by the headdress.

(For anyone seeing this who missed my earlier post, you can still use the code “SAMHAIN” to take 31% off all ready to ship jewelry in your order.)

This luscious, regal headdress combines faceted garnet beads, bright copper and deep garnet Czech glass beads with shimmery dark gold Preciosa Czech glass seed beads. The findings and charms, including lobster clasp, are all bronze-finished steel or Tibetan silver, with the exception of the antiqued copper-finished feather charms and draped chain.

The energy in this piece is wonderful! I just adore garnet. I was also working with this piece hands-on for several hours, because it’s a new design/concept for me, and it was created on Samhain.

Wear any of my pieces for their metaphysical properties, or just because you think they’re pretty! You can also turn any beaded bracelet or necklace into prayer beads if you’d like, by simply shifting your perspective.

The total length, including the clasp, is adjustable from about 21.75″ to 24″.

2014-1031-Witchy-Warrior-Headdress1Garnet, when gifted, fosters loyalty and affection. If stolen, the stone is said to bring bad luck until returned to the rightful owner. It is considered a warrior’s stone and has been carried for centuries in battle, as a charm against injury or death. Garnet is also often used as a talisman against negativity and evil, ranging from nightmares to astral attack. It is also a stone of romance and passion; it can be used to increase spiritual awareness or one’s sex drive.

Copper tends to stimulate and encourage optimism, independence, harmony, luck, sexuality, intuition and general vitality. Copper is a wonderful conductor of healing energy and its properties are useful in many areas of healing.

Special Offers & Flash Deal

Looking for a deal? Check this one out! I have recently reduced many of the prices of non-beaded and older pieces in my shop. If you haven’t browsed recently, please take a look: bit.ly/blessedbaubles. Now you can also save $5 per beaded necklace using the code “SAVE5”, through tomorrow night only!

ALL incoming funds, after necessary living expenses, are now going directly to fund our suddenly impending move to Seattle and savings to establish ourselves after our arrival there. AJ and I are grateful for your purchases and support!

Catching Up

I’ve been a bit frazzled and slow recently, thanks to the heat… Sometimes that means that I forget to post here or choose to post less frequently, since most of my engagement is on Facebook, but I’m trying to figure out the best way to stay on top of everything and also set up an email newsletter. In the meantime, sometimes I post stuff like this… Here’s a look at what I’ve been up to very recently. If you pop over to my shop, you can check out the items I’ve placed in my newly created clearance section, as well as some newer pieces not shown here. I’ve also posted some new charms and pendants on FB, which are available for custom orders.

I’d really love to hear what you think of any of the new pieces!

To The Moon & Back: 2-Pc Set for Intuition & Emotional Healing

Originally made for a custom order, this set is now available for sale because I am making alterations to the design for the customer.

This piece features hematite, moonstone, golden rutilated quartz, blue labradorite, amethyst and sodalite. The pendant is hematite, with a single moonstone bead suspended in front of it.

Labradorite is a wonderful stone for protection, sealing energetic leaks, intuition, working on psychic gifts and connecting with your inner/higher self. It is an often-favored crystal among shamans, healers, energy workers and psychics.

Moonstone was used in love spells and to divine the future by ancient people. It is universally recognized as having a connection to the moon and the divine feminine. Use it to enhance intuition and soothe anxiety. Use moonstone to aid in relief of symptoms related to hormonal issues, to help you find luck in a new beginning, or to enhance creative inspiration.

Sodalite is a stone of creativity, inspiration and protection. This is a stone of healing, balance and harmony among groups of people. Sodalite is associated with water, wisdom and intuition, the throat and third eye chakras. Use it to ease anxiety and learn how to trust your own instincts.

Amethyst is calming, harmonizing, and good at drawing peaceful energy. It is a wonderful healing stone, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Amethyst can be used to aid in all kinds of psychic work, including enhancing one’s intuition. It can be used to protect travelers and to ward off psychic attack. Like garnet, amethyst was often worn or carried into battle as a protective amulet.

Hematite is a very grounding stone, often used in various forms of healing. Black and similar, dark colors are associated with the root chakra, which governs our relationship with the physical world and self-preservation.

Throwback Thursday

2014-0424-TBT

Time for my #ThrowbackThursday post… I’ve been having so much fun with these on FB over the past few weeks, and I just realized I hadn’t shared them here! This was one of the first pieces I made, back in February of 2011. If I recall correctly, it was actually my first custom order! #TBT
