Today’s Bits & Pieces

Check out these new bits and pieces I got in the mail today! 🙂 The container is full of handmade, fairly traded African myrrh resin beads. The large wooden beads are inscribed with the Great Compassion sutra, and I adore the tiny Buddha in the hand protection charms! I just have a pair each of the charms and focal beads right now and will have to hunt for more, so if it’s love at first sight, get in touch to reserve yours for a custom piece before they’re gone! ♥

Skulls & Ankhs

Check out the goodies I got in yesterday’s mail! I got three more strands of skull beads, as well as multiples of both of these ankh pendants, gold-finished Tibetan silver (metal alloy) and hematite. ♥ If you’re interested in a custom piece featuring any of these, please get in touch.

Be soft.

I love this quote. I have struggled with this very thing, with being so wounded that it’s been difficult not to wall myself up in an attempt at self-preservation… But I was lonely and miserable then, so I have begun to learn how to find balance, and I will keep getting better at it with practice. ♥

Thanks, Amelia!

I got a surprise package in the mail with this sweet necklace from Amelia over at Mia’s Paradise! It’s very pretty, and it was so nice of her to send this unexpected gift my way. Thanks so much, Amelia! ♥ I don’t think Mia’s Paradise has its own Facebook page or website, but Amelia and her jewelry can be found at Artistic Treasures US in Concord, NC.

Becky’s Crystals

Ooh, check out some of the goodies from Becky’s Crystals! ♥ Becky is part of the Imbolc giveaway, along with myself and 7 other artists… And she’s local to those of you in the UK! Please show her page some love, and pop over to my pinned post on Facebook for details on entering the giveaway if you haven’t yet. (Remember that you may tweet daily for entries!)

More Bits & Pieces

I got a lot more beads in this order, but here’s the last of the highlights… I have two of the large copper crosses, and I don’t believe my supplier will be getting any more of them. The small Celtic crosses are now available in antiqued silver and gold finishes. If anyone knows the translation of the characters on the heart links, I’d love to know!

Assorted Fancies & Focals

The top strand is green aquamarine in carved fluted/flower shapes; below are faceted flat dark amethyst teardrops, some of which will be going into a custom headpiece. Bottom row: faceted aventurine; faceted blue goldstone; hematite leaf; aged bone owl (not quite as bright yellow in person); red aventurine. Shown with a US quarter dollar for size reference.
